April 3, 2026

Our group at CaliOrb created this interactive map of stores for NewPark Mall and it aims to simplify the walk through the main mall without stress. It helps you know where everything is, so that you can plan your trip ahead of the place before you arrive here.

Are you looking for something specific? Click the search bar in the upper left part, simply type the name of the store and it will appear right away. To filter the available options, you can browse the categories, which works just as well.

Want to zoom in closer to something? Use the scroll wheel of the mouse to expand the view, or choose one of the buttons below to the right to zoom in or out, or even to open everything in full screen.

How To Use This NewPark Mall Directory Map

The mall has two levels; LL and UL, and switching between them is simple. Click the buttons for levels up to the right. If you click directly on the store marker, it shows the info about that space, which helps to learn the layout before walking here.

NewPark Mall, sitting at the crossing of Interstate 880 and Mowry Avenue in Newark, California, is a known place from the late eighties. Early marketing materials form that time show the outside covered with brown tiles. An interesting part of the history of the mall is the original space for the big store, that later became the current AMC Theaters.

Not long ago there was a big renovation of the mall, that aimed to make it a main destination in the East Bay Area for entertainment, food and shopping. There are discussions about a new gateway on the upper level, beside the old place of Macy’s, that would open possibilities for more restaurants and stores. Another cause is an offer for mixed use of the north, with hotels and stores, in the area of the old Brubaker Auto Centre.

Today the mall holds more then forty stores. Among the current tenants is AMC Theaters, Jack’s Restaurant & Bar and 24 Hour Fitness. The food court with many food options surrounds everything.

The halls stay clean, and the air conditioning keeps things comfortable for a nice shopping experience.

Brookfield owns the mall. They bought the old parent company Rouse several years ago. In its peak, NewPark Mall connected the community with main big stores and attracted crowds often.

Nostalgia lives strongly in past visitors, who recall stores like the card shops, the place of Red Robin and those game displays. Macy’s was here then, and the list of tenants changed a lot over the years. Some parts were blocked off to let in outside businesses like Costco and 24 Hour Fitness, which lost access from inside.

That left some more dark, quiet areas separated.

Although it does not compete strongly with near rivals like Stoneridge or Westfield Valley Fair, the mall has its own style with a faithful range of stores and restaurants, that serves the local population. Food options like Jack’s and Yugo Ramen offer good choices for food, while Wine Bar adds fresh atmosphere to thewhole.

This interactive map shows the current layout, although the stores change sometimes; we will update it when needed. Well, bookmark this page to easily access the interactive map whenever you need it.
